Union Solidarity Union Solidarity was formed in response to the Howard Government's IR laws and the Building Industry Improvement Act. Our activists include: unionists, community groups, church groups, left wing individuals, and even right wing individuals. Union Solidarity help workers in struggle, acting as a buffer between workers (and unions) and the IR laws. Since it's inception, Union Solidarity have attended over 30 community assemblies in Victoria. There are also Union Solidarity groups in Western Australia and New South Wales.
If you would like to find out more about what Union Solidarity is about, or you would like to join up, or you would like to start a Union Solidarity Group in your state/area, click on the Union Solidarity link. You can also email Union Maid for more information. Hope to see you on a community assembly soon!
